true shame is looking in the face of my temptations and being unsure if i can look away.
true shame is seeing just how much i can doubt that which has stood by my side faithfully.
true shame is thinking about what the right choice is and being tired of making it.
true shame is thinking about my past self and genuinely wondering if she would be proud of me.
