i'm realizing that somewhere deep inside me, and apart from reason, there's a tie between obligatory preparedness and moral responsibility. i'm not sure if this is good or not. but like if i go to class without my homework done, as an example, i feel like a horrible person and a slacker, even if i had perfectly legitimate (or even Godly) reasons for not doing it.
*sigh* it's probably about balance, as usual.
