Snape and Albus crossed over the last tier, narrowly avoiding hitting its inhabitants. Those in the fourth tier were all in one place: chained to the tier wall, with the potion flowing into their mouths. They howled at the constant recall of their very worst memories, coughing and spluttering, but unable to escape. One man with a rat-like face kept rolling over, utterly failing in his attempts to avoid the downpour.
"I recognize him! I've seen his picture in old newspapers: Peter Pettigrew!"
"Correct, Potter. He was a rat in more ways than one, and betrayed both his friends and his master. Unfortunately for him, the Dark Lord was the less forgiving of the two."
The rat-faced man rolled over and reached out for them, straining against his chains, but before he could so much as touch the boat, it had rowed away.
